Take a dip into the cool side of the color wheel with purple in the bathroom! On the walls, towels, and even the tub, purple is quite a versatile color. Pale lavenders paired with rich linens create a romantic atmosphere while dark, rich violet generates a gothic, almost masculine room. Pair with a neutrals to make purple the centerpiece of the bathroom or sprinkle purple around the room through accessories and lighting as an accent color. However you use it, there’s no denying your bathroom will look fabulous with the addition of purple.
We’ve rounded up our favorite examples of purple in the bathroom. Browse below for inspiration!
This Boston bathroom is small on space but not lacking in charm! Because the marble tile reaches halfway up the wall, the bathroom can handle purple paint and accessories without being overwhelmed by the bold color.
Carey Karlan of Greenwich, Connecticut’s Last Detail Interior Design used a shiny mirror, faucet, and accessories to reflect the beautiful thistle color of this powder room. For a similar pedestal sink, click here.
Studio M Interior Design offers this cost-effective solution to creating a statement in the shower. Since colored subway tiles are usually more expensive than white tiles, concentrate your colored tiles to one location like the ceiling for a showstopping bathroom that doesn’t break the bank!
