After 4 years, the flapper assembly is starting to leak a little, when I look in the tank, the water level drops about an inch in 12 hours. This is minor and I can get a new flapper under the warantee. I think my son is going to get a toilet like this, but not ADA. We have 4 children and we averaged 2 or 3 clogs each week before buying these toilets. We bought these because they had the most powerful flush and enlarged drainage, to try to decrease the clogs. We clog with waste , not with paper. Yes, we now do clog less, on average only once every 7-10 days, but in the past it was easy to plunge the toilet free of waste, these toilets are a NIGHTMARE to plunge. Because of the shape / contour of the bottom of the toilet, it is incredibly difficult to get a seal with the plunger and I now spend literally 10 times the time trying to plunge and I often have to plunge for several days in a row to clear waste when it clogs. "None" REVIEW:   We needed an ADA toilet on short notice for a family member with rheumatoid arthritis, so I let the local plumbing company talk me into a Kohler Cimarron because it was in stock. What a mistake! I knew from other reviews that the bowl wash might not be ideal, but this was impossible! I'm not willing to clean after every use. Yuck. Turns out the plumbing company was able to get me a Drake within 24 hours, and did when I insisted. Had to pay for installation twice as well as the non-discounted price of the Toto, so this was an expensive mistake, but so worth it. The Drake is great, everything that the Kohler isn't. It flushes everything on the first flush, no installation problems, and stays as clean as our old water-hogs did, which is to say that it does require cleaning, but not too often. I will be installing Totos in all the bathrooms of our house. One tip for others who might have handicapped persons in their home: the flush action on all of the new low-flow toilets is stiff, too hard for someone with rheumatoid arthritis. We started with a foot pedal ($30.), which worked well but was still too hard on her knee. We then added a wireless automatic flusher from a third party supplier ($175.), which solved the problem wonderfully. If you have small kids, this might also work for you. I am being careful cause I did crack a tank some years ago. I realize that I am squeezing down on a soft rubber gasket to get to the 3 touch points, it just doesn't feel right. It flushes beautiful but it's first attempt at removing soild waste failed. It stopped up but was easily cleared with a plunger. This is not odd for me as I have stopped up commerical toilets. Casting is rough in this area so be sure to inspect and sand on the inside where the rubber washer sits before installation. Check area around valve opening also.
